If you take a look at all of the player animations, you’ll notice that the images are not all the same size. Now that the image is imported, we need to set the origin. This is the only frame we’ll need for this animation. Choose Assets > Images > Player > PlayerIdle.png.Use the Load Sprite option, and navigate to the image files you downloaded for this tutorial.Right-click the Sprites folder and choose Create Sprite.Let’s start with the Player Idle animation. Before we can do any of that, though, we need to add some graphics we can use for the player and the enemy. In this article we’re going to create a player object and an enemy object we can kill, and we'll give the player the ability to move around and attack. Now open Game Maker, and let’s get started.
